May Challenge: #SmashYourStack

Good evening, nerds!

I’ve been in a bit of a reading lull lately. Dewey’s Readathon helped me get back in the game last weekend, and I hope to keep the momentum in May after not reading for nearly a month. Smash Your Stack came at the right time!

Andi and Melissa put together Smash Your Stack to help us all stay on track with reading books we already own. The idea is to set a goal for how many books you plan to read in May and decide what percentage of those will be already owned books.

My goal is to read 10 books in May with 8 of them being books I already own. For math purposes, that’s 80%. I’m keeping two books open because BEA is coming up and I know I’ll want to read at least a couple books immediately after the expo.

I’ll be updating this post with books read as I go along.

  1. Nice! Readathon helped me, too. I read 3 books I’ve been meaning to get to for years, but it also encouraged me to dig in and really get to work on my own stuff. I’m not sure why/how that connection was made, but I’ve been on track for nearly 1 full week, which is saying something. 🙂
