February and I didn’t get along well in regard to reading. I finished rereading the final Harry Potter book for #PotterBinge, read My Life on the Road by Gloria Steinem, and am halfway through the Alexander Hamilton biography. It’s going to take longer than anticipated to get through that beast, so I’m putting it on hold for March in favor of a Weirdathon.
What’s a weirdathon? Well, it’s basically a month of glorious reading featuring books that are considered weird, and it’s being hosted by the Princess of the Underworld, aka Julianne (Outlandish Lit). To get an idea of what counts as a weird book, check out her book lists.
My stack includes:
The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin
White Noise by Don DeLillo
The First Bad Man by Miranda July
The People in the Trees by Hanya Yanagihara
The Unfinished World by Amber Sparks
The Beautiful Bureaucrat by Helen Phillips
I hope you join us! If you do, let me know what you’re reading.
