Bout of Books Readathon

BoB12-200x200

Welcome to my “sign up” post for the Bout of Books Readathon! This is the 12th round of Bout of Books and my 3rd time participating. For more information about this reading event…

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 5thth and runs through Sunday, January 11th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 12 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

  1. I was hoping to participate this year, but it looks like I’ll be moving in mid-January, so the likeliehood of me reading anything, let alone more than usual, those first two weeks of January is getting smaller and smaller. But have fun!

  2. I am totally going to participate in this! I usually read 3 or so books a week (recently). I’ve been going slower this month, though. I hope you’ll love The Rosie Project! I’m reading/working on a review of the sequel right now 🙂

      • I had to stop working due to health issues about six months ago. I got really tired of TV after about a week. Now I mostly listen to audiobooks because I have a tremor in my arm and holding a book can be problematic. I have found that audiobooks let me multitask! So I can read and cook at the same time more things like that. I also saw the classics challenge on here. I can’t wait to do that one (I am glad that it is starting very soon), too. When I went through my goodreads account, I saw that I read 25 “classic” books in the last eight months alone.
