  2. There are lots of banned books that I love and that I think are important to read. I guess my favorite would be To Kill a Mockingbird, and I would love to win a copy of Brideshead Revisited. (Already following you on Twitter as mybookstrings) Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. Wow! I had no idea that _Are Your There, God? It’s Me, Margaret_ is one of the top 100 most frequently challenged books! I read it in either 4th or 5th grade and absolutely *loved* it. I think I might need to go buy it for my 12 year old daughter.

I’ll have to look through the Banned/Challenged list to see what else shocks me. And I followed your writer page on FB. 🙂

  8. I love ALL the books! Especially the banned books. I think my favorite are probably the Harry Potter books, because what a silly reason to ban them right? That and I read a post this morning about a mom re-writing them without magic and with a religious overtone?! (SAY WHAT!?)

If I won I’d love a copy of Beloved. It’s one of those books I’ve meant to read so many times, but just never gotten around to 😦

  10. Wow! It’s hard to pick a favorite looking at the list! I’d like to say pretty much all of them on the challenged classics list. But I’ll go with the Harry Potter Series. The banned book that I would request if I won would be Looking for Alaska by John Green.
